Axel Hotels Launches New Heterosexual-friendly Social Network

The new social network of Axel Hotels has been launched to allow you to be everywhere, with everyone, at any time.




Find out who is in the room next door, interact with the rest of the hosts, follow live the Hotel’s events, enjoy exclusive promotions, and above all, live through the Axel philosophy. These are only some of the options offered by the new Social Network Axel People.
 
From now on in Axel Hotels “walls will be an option”. That is the headline of the new Axel campaign to promote Axel People, a completely revolutionary and innovating project within the Social Media environment through which the company reinvents itself. Axel Hotels, the hotel chain addressed to the gay community and with a heterofriendly philosophy, has launched recently in its hotels a new social network that promises to become the new 2.0 revolution within the hotel industry. The objective is that the client will enjoy a unique, exciting and positive experience following the Axel Hotels philosophy of “Anything can happen”…
 
The VIP pass to this new portal is obtained at the moment of making a reservation at the hotel either through the Axel Hotels web site www.axelhotels.com, or by phone or via e-mail. After due confirmation, clients will receive a code with which they can access Axel People, define their profile (where they can define the degree of privacy that they want to have), and begin to interact on the net from that moment on. If the reservation is made through other external channels, the access to the network will be available after check in at the hotel. Also, regular clients of the Local Community will be able to access it through the Events section created in the official Facebook pages of the Hotels.
 
Among its areas, we can highlight the Lobby, which is a wall in the “Facebook” style in which users can publish their contents and even show their global position. Or the Events category, where the hotel maintains their clients updated on the most important parties and events in the city.
 
The most important feature can be found in the section called Rooms, where one can see who is staying in the room next door (only if the client whishes to publish that information), and begin an interaction that, who knows, might be the start of a wonderful story, or simply a new way of making friends and getting to know people.
 
But the client won’t be the only one present in Axel People, the different hotel areas will also be part of the experience in a personalized way. In this way, the Sky Bar Terrace, the wellness area and even the Kitchen Restaurant will offer exclusive promotions that will offer the clients the possibility of interacting with the services offered.
 
A real dose of sensations that will make the client want to be connected to the web or their iphone at all times. From the coming September, users will be able to follow everything happening at the Axel People Lobby while visiting the city, thanks to the free Axel People application that will be available at the Apple store.
 
The new Revolution in the Hotel sector
 
If we believed that everything had already been done regarding Social Media, Axel Hotels has leaped forward in the hotel sector within the on line world, giving way to a new business model, which is an incentive for the client to try out the services offered thanks to Social Media.
